AMDI Product Testing
AMDI’s product testing services provide rigorous evaluation to ensure reliability, safety, and performance. Utilizing customized test methods and advanced equipment, AMDI assesses products under real-world conditions to identify potential issues and validate design integrity. This thorough testing process supports clients in meeting regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality, dependable products.
Force and Displacement Testing
AMDI’s Mark-10 mechanical testing system supports a range of tests, including compression, tension, displacement, and cyclical loading. The system features a travel range of up to 18 inches (457 mm) and is equipped with interchangeable load cells rated at 20 lbf (100 N) and 300 lbf (1500 N), allowing for versatile testing across various force requirements. With speeds up to 45 inches per minute (1,100 mm/min), the system enables precise and efficient evaluation of material and component performance under different loading conditions.
Custom & Standard Based Test Methods
Test methods are developed based on specific requirements derived from design inputs, risk analysis, and applicable industry standards. Examples of these test methods include, but are not limited to, accelerated aging, simulated use with animal tissues or similar synthetic materials, force testing and cyclical loading, flow testing, and sterile barrier packaging testing. These tailored approaches ensure that products meet performance, safety, and regulatory expectations throughout their lifecycle.
Simulated-Use & Lifetime Testing
Simulated use tests are specifically designed for each client to verify key product attributes such as lifetime, durability, performance, reliability, and accuracy. These customized tests ensure that products meet real-world demands and maintain their functionality throughout their intended lifespan.
Code Mapping & Software Debugging
AMDI’s software team, equipped with diverse programming expertise, can handle a variety of tasks including code mapping, debugging, and resolving software malfunctions.
Contamination Recovery Testing
AMDI develops client-specific test methods, such as contamination and cleanliness verification, which can be used to verify part cleanliness, validate cleaning processes, and perform incoming inspection.
